For Saturday snow makeup days, students may enter the building at 7:15. No breakfast or lunch will be provided. Please provide a snack for your child. There will not be any recess on makeup days. Buses will pick up students at their normal pickup time.

80s Falcon Jam
As a Positive Behavior Intervention Support (PBIS) school, students that S.O.A.R. are rewarded. Students earn tickets by displaying appropriate behaviors (showing self-control, operating safely, acting responsibly, and respecting others.) For the price of 75 Falcon Tickets, students were able to attend the 80s Falcon Jam, wear rad costumes and learn dance moves from the 1980s.

Parent volunteers voted on students with the best costumes and the winners from each track were awarded a sweet treat and a gift card to Jelly Beans.

Talent Show Grades 3-5
March 28, 2014
It was standing room only for good reason at the Grades 3-5 Talent Show. Gymnastics, magic, singing, dancing, playing instruments, and pogo sticks were some of the 52 acts on center stage. Great job students!!

Registration for 2014-2015

Registration is everyday until 3:00 pm. To view the school assigned to your address, visit http://www.wcpss.net/preview. Families must register at their base school. If NFP is not your base school then you must first register at your base school and then request a transfer to NFP during the final transfer period, which will be May 1 - 15. If you have any questions, you can always feel free to contact our Data Manager, Dody Serpe at dserpe@wcpss.net or 919-570-2207.

Please bring to registration:
* Completed registration forms that can be found at http://www.wcpss.net/parents/kindergarten/forms/omnibus-kindergarten.pdf
* Parent/legal guardian photo ID
* Proof of residence in the form of a current electric, city gas or city water bill, signed lease agreement or closing statement in the name of the parent(s) or court-appointed guardian with a closing date within 45 days. Telephone, cable television bills and driver's licenses do not qualify.
* A certified copy of the child's birth certificate, which can be obtained from the county or state health department where the child was born.
* Immunization records. For a list of all required immunizations, visit the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services at http://www.immunize.nc.gov/schools/kindergarten.htm. If you do not have a certified immunization record, contact your physician or the Wake County Human Services. A new series of shots can be administered.

** New families will receive a letter from NFP the week of April 13 which will include track assignment, K orientation dates, Meet the Teacher information and school tour dates. **
