Falcon Fest 2014 is coming!!
Falcon Fest is an annual family-friendly
festival sponsored by the PTA.
Food, games, a deejay,
and inflatable houses will be on hand at NFP to provide
a fun evening for everyone.
Volunteers will be needed to make this event a success.

Students earn Falcon tickets for displaying
appropriate behavior at school. Students can purchase
tickets for the Totally 80's Falcon Jam using Falcon tickets.
All NFP students are invited to dress like the 1980s
on the dates of the Falcon Jam and students
who purchase tickets, may attend it.
We are holding tours of our school for new NFP families on
select dates. No RSVP required.

The PTA is hosting a Philippines Typhoon Relief Fundraiser
at NFP on April 5. All proceeds from this fundraiser will
go to the American
Red Cross: Helping in the Philippines and Project
Hope. It will be held outside; if it rains, it will
be in the gym.
Donations (baked goods, books, toys):
All baked good donations can be dropped off at NFP on Saturday starting at
8 a.m. All toys and books can be dropped in the designated bin located in
the lobby of the school from March 24 through April 4th.
We need volunteers to help sort the items received and
work the sale. Please see volunteer

Forest Middle School Open House
April 10: 6:30 - 8:00 pm
This Open House is
for students who will be 6th graders at Wake Forest Middle
School for the 2014 - 2015 school year. More information
will be coming.
Abraham receives his award
from Dr. Merrill at the School Board Meeting.
Abraham, a 3rd grader in Mrs. Miranda's
class, is NFP's Spotlight Student for the 2013-2014 school
year. Mrs. Miranda nominated Abraham because of his academic
progress (especially reading) this year. He received a
plaque from WCPSS' Superintendent at February's School
Board Meeting. Asked about the award, Abraham said, "It
made me feel proud because I know I worked hard."

with a closing date within 45 days. Telephone, cable
television bills and driver's licenses do not qualify.
|* A certified copy of the child's
birth certificate, which can be obtained from the
county or state health department where the child
|* Immunization records. For a list
of all required immunizations, visit the North Carolina
Department of Health and Human Services at http://www.immunize.nc.gov/schools/kindergarten.htm.
If you do not have a certified immunization record,
contact your physician or the Wake County Human Services.
A new series of shots can be administered.
In case of snow
or other potentially hazardous weather or emergency situations,
school may be closed or delayed.
