The PBIS Committee hosted a Sock Hop for students. Students earn tickets throughout the year by making good choices (showing kindness, acting responsibly, following the rules, etc.) Those tickets can be used at the school store and for events such as a popcorn & a movie event or the sock hop.

Favorite Book Day
February 4 & 8, 2013

For Favorite Book Day, students wore their pajamas and brought their favorite book to school. During a scheduled 30 minute time slot, all students dropped everything, read a book and enjoyed some hot chocolate.

Staff of the Year
November 2012
The votes are in!! NFP teachers voted for Mrs. Pamela Reaume for the Teacher of the Year! Mrs. Reaume is a track 4, grade 4 teacher. Mrs. Reaume will be celebrated at a dinner in May. Congratulations Mrs. Reaume!!

The Teacher Assistants voted for the Instructional Assistant of the Year! Mrs. Vicky Hussey is a track 4, grade 1 TA. Mrs. Hussey will represent North Forest Pines at a dinner in May. Congrats Mrs. Hussey!!

Book Character Presentations
October 31, 2012
Mrs. Jones-Stroud's students completed a book character project where they listened to a book of their choice, chose a character from that book and presented information about their character.Parents were invited to the presentations.

Kindergarten Celebrates Safety Day
October 3, 2012
Police, Fire, and Rescue Teams visited NFP. Students visited different stations to learn about what each team does. This was done so that kids are not afraid to talk to these important people.
